

Improving Soybean Meal for the Feed Industry
One of QUALISOY’s long-term visions is to introduce soybean varieties with enhanced compositional traits that meet the needs of the feed industry. These traits include reducing the phytate-phosphorus content of soybeans to help solve environmental concerns, improving the amino acid complex of soybean meal for easier digestibility and improving feeding efficiencies.
Consumption by livestock and poultry drives soybean meal demand in the United States. In fact, more than 98 percent of domestic soybean meal is consumed by livestock and poultry. Soybean meal also is the preferred protein of choice in pork and poultry diets throughout the world.
