John is the chief executive officer of USB and directs the implementation of USB’s $40 million budget and manages the soybean checkoff’s national office in Chesterfield, Mo. John works with and for USB to establish criteria to achieve the most effective and efficient allocation of checkoff dollars. Prior to joining USB, John served as executive director for the Conservation Technology Information Center in West Lafayette, Ind. John has been CEO of the QUALISOY Board since its inception in 2004, and also served on the Technology Utilization Center’s board of directors. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse and holds a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University.
