QUALISOY is an independent, third-party collaboration that promotes the development of and builds the market for the latest soybean traits. QUALISOY partners with the entire U.S. soy value chain, from seed companies to food manufacturers and animal feed producers, to create trait-enhanced soybean oils and meal that offer desirable traits, such as improved nutrition and functionality. QUALISOY is guided by representatives from all sectors of the soybean industry.
The QUALISOY mission: To create added value and increase global competitiveness for U.S. soy through assistance in the development, commercialization and promotion of the latest soybean traits.
QUALISOY is a collaboration funded by the United Soybean Board (USB) Checkoff. QUALISOY aims to drive demand and secure utilization of trait-enhanced soybean oils and shortenings among the food industry, ultimately increasing profits for U.S. soybean
farmers and the soy value chain.

The USB and QUALISOY are committed to the expansion and success of trait-enhanced soybeans. U.S. soybean farmers collaborate with seed technology companies to determine which traits and products most benefit food companies and consumers. Investing in research to develop trait-enhanced soybean varieties, such as high oleic soybeans, allows the U.S. soy industry to provide ingredients with an improved fat profile that meet food companies’ product performance and functionality needs. This focus on improved soybean traits will translate to value for the entire soy value chain.
